Supporting St Francis in 2011
Each employee of the company donated R75 per month to the cause
In the first year, it was decided among the employees of the company that the best way to contribute in a meaningful way, was for each person in the company to donate R75 per month to the cause, Tilda Technologies would then match the amount.
The final donation was an amount of R3500; this was used to buy baby products such as nappies and baby formula. Old clothes, shoes and toys were also collected and given to the children.
Supporting the Arts
Tilda Technologies Supports local artists:-
Creativity is found in every aspect of life; as much a part of our work as it is of our play and the information and communication technology sector is no exception.
The creativity that is software is infinite and we are only limited by our imaginations. In this respect, Tildatech as a software development company identifies
with those who work in the various artistic industries and as such, is delighted to support South African talent from time to time.
Supporting for the Grahamstown Festival 2011
Tildatech sponsors an original musical production
In 2010, Tilda Technologies was approached by YourArt Productions requesting sponsorship for a locally written musical titled ‘The 4 Seasons’, which would be presented for the first time at the Grahamstown Festival the following year.
Tildatech was excited to be part of something original, that wasn’t American or British and so took the plunge into the unknown offering to sponsor the South African production.

“A gripping musical about a young man rejected by his mother because he is gay. The play explores critical issues such as perseverance and love but is also beautifully laced with humour.” Pearl Nicodemus
